Saying ‘yes’ to running in a 5k race around is not something Shelley and I would normally do (we’re more your yoga, swimming, and pilates types), but when our friend and jeans queen Donna Ida asked us if we would join her and more than 175 other joggers for charity, how could we say no?
In addition to managing her extremely successful denim boutiques, Donna is also a patron for Jeans for Genes – an organisation that provides funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders. And by rallying us all together, she’s hoping to raise at least £50,000.
So, we’re ditching our Chelseas, donning our runners and pounding the pavement to get ourselves in peak physical condition. Well, that’s the plan. We can always walk some of the way, right?
If you’d like to support this worthy cause, and us click here. If you’d like to run too (even better!), click here – the top fundraisers win loads of prizes, including a pair of Mou boots and more pairs of jeans than you’ll know what to do with.
Mou fan? Why not join us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter?
