The experience of liaising between her clients and the creatives proved invaluable, and in 2002 she created mou. Founded on a desire to make luxurious and original footwear, her inspiration for mou comes from the wild open spaces of her native New Zealand, a lifelong love of travel, music and art, and the rare finds she discovers at vintage markets.
